Back in the Saddle Again

I started a new, temporary ministry position yesterday. I've been hired by Sharonville U.M.C. to help coach staff, get the church connected with their community and help them better understand what it means to be a purpose-driven church. The primary staff I will be working with are the youth pastor and the contemporary worship leader. I will also spend time with their outreach and evangelim leaders. The church formed a partnership back in June with a struggling church in Norwood so I will also help coach the lay pastor in leadership there.

I have my first appointment wth a shrink on Thursday. Pray for Dr. Joe. I think he's going to need it. Have you heard my story? My baggage is an odd mix of vibrant paisleys and plaid.

We have absolutely no idea where we'll be in July. What an opportunity to trust God!
